“The man who complains about the way the ball bounces is likely to be the one who dropped it.”

I think that needs to be re-iterated here.

I'm certainly not surprised, and I'm sure you'd mete out the correct punishment. It must scare you to see a manly-man capable of thinking and acting for himself.
Not particularly.

No, you are. You are clueless. A decorated veteran, who assisted Iraqi civilians, and in the process loses 3 limbs--the most severely Airman to survive from ANY war--and then comes back to make not only his political viewpoints known, but goes on to live a very full life--including snowboarding and pursuing an architectural degree--is NOT complaining. You are so full of it to belittle this man it is nauseating.

Did you read his letter? He was complaining that we still aren't occupying Iraq.

To finish the job, despite the risks - a character made of something that isn't in one single cell of your body. You never once read about the people of Iraq, separate and apart from the politicians. Moreover, the man is entitled to his opinion - he's been there, he's seen it, and he's lived it. You could never, ever begin to fill his shoes.

How many more arms and legs and dollars do you want to spend on "finishing the job" in Iraq? How would you even define what "finishing the job" means?

(You have to admit, your "could never fill his shoes" line was as stupid as it was funny.)

Not sure that's the part of Obama where che leaves several big ole kiss marks. Give you a hint. Rhymes with 'gas.' Second place rhymes with 'hut whole.'

As a compassionate conservative, I was attempting to be generous to the pissant.
It won't happen again.

"And with complete disregard for every life sacrificed, every limb lost, and every broken family, you bailed on our mission to pursue an agenda that was completely centered on your re-election in 2012. If you didn’t bail on Iraq you were worried that you may not get re-elected and that’s a fact. Just before elections on Oct 11, 2012 you said “Al Qaeda is on the run and Osama bin Laden is dead.” Look at Iraq now, they are in shambles and the Al Qaeda flag is flying freely. Clearly, you’re unfit for duty as a Commander in Chief. You put your own agenda ahead of America’s agenda, and now you have single handedly ruined and destroyed nearly everything we gained in Iraq."

" We went there, we waged war, and we not only owed it to our KIA’s but we owed it to the citizens of Iraq. We invaded their country and turned it upside down, and you bailed on them. You bailed on our soldiers and you’ve wasted every death and every limb, it’s all for nothing."

How much clearer can the answer to your insipid question be? He answered that question, you neglected to read it. I will also leave you with another point of view to ponder why the job is considered incomplete by many:

You shouldn't refer to that soldier as a pissant. He has a right to his opinion, no matter how misguided it may be.

I agree. And I was just thinking, on a thread that started out with that beautiful, dignified letter.....my response to che was not quite appropriate. I am a bit chagrinned when the trolls pull me down to their toxic level.

Yep. This proves it. You are one sick twisted feck of a narcissist. I suggest you re-read that exchange. It's YOU referred to as the pissant. Well-deserved.

It was all for nothing the day the first boot hit the ground there.

And, no, my question was not answered in his letter. My question is, how many MORE arms and legs and lives and dollars do you wish we would have spent in Iraq to finish a mission that was never, ever defined and you cannot adequately define to this day.

Perhaps that dignified letter would have more credibility if that soldier would have actually bothered to learn which POTUS signed the legislation ordering the withdrawal and signed the withdrawal agreement with the Iraqis. Like I said before, the loss of those limbs didn't bestow upon him any more wisdom or insight than the rest of you wingnuts.

Ask Obama, since he is using expensive drones and killing innocents weekly to continue the war on terror, albeit in a different country. Once again, a shell game with him.

This is one of the most twisted, sick, disrespectful things I've read in a long time. And from a "lawyer", no less!
