What's hilarious is that Democrats were lambasting Republicans a couple weeks ago for wanting to delay the employee mandate... but now that a few of them are talking about it.... it's suddenly a good idea.

The American people own it now. Thousands are getting letters saying their health care insurance is being dropped. These are Republicans and Democrat families who're being dropped. The insurance industry are the ones who're raising premiums and deductibles. There's no reason for them to do that at this time. The industry is forcing people into Obama care by their actions. If they are not apart of the ACA participants, then they have no reason to drop coverage on people who're paying them now.

The industry are causing people to flee to the opening arms of the health exchanges so that eventually a single payer system can be implemented.

Don't get so cocky about your coverage, A- holes, because one letter is all it'll take for your asses to be dropped from a plan. So don't cry about it when, not if, it happens.

Republicans had SIX of the eight Bush years to pass a health care bill that would've allowed state to state national coverage, instead of the monopoly we have now. They could've sold catastrophic plans for young people who don't get as sick, and passed legislation to set a small percentage of our taxes for health savings accounts sort of like a Medicare plan, but noooo, stupid retard Jr. prescribed a Medicare part D for seniors (for votes) and a half- assed medical savings plan (voluntary).

It's the Republicans fault for this ACA and all its failures because you dummies are not good at domestic governance. Your stupidity and lack of a vision for the foreseeable future caused this mass confusion.

Get back with us and tell me if you laughed when your insurer either dropped your coverage or raised your premium $400 extra dollars a month for the same basic coverage. Laugh at that time, Tone loc.

The reason hundreds of thousands are being dropped from their plans is because of the NEW MANDATES that obamacare requires.

Their plans do not meet the new requirements thus in effect make them void.

To comply with the NEW REQUIREMENTS a new policy would have to be written and of course the added cost of including the NEW REQUIREMENTS WOULD INCREASE THE COST SUBSTANTIALLY..

Please do not try to pass the blame onto the Republicans, obamacare passed in the middle of the night without a single Republican vote and I believe 32 Dems voted against it.

600 million for a website. Are they and you for real?

I didn't vote for Mary Jo, I voted for Kslick and sexy Mary T.!
I voted for Barry O twice and have buyer's remorse because he's not engaged, and his underlings are cutting him off at the knees. I doubt if Katheline Rebellious, told him the truth about the un-readiness of the program.

There's no such people as Dems or Repub to the for profit insurance Industry. We all are estate and new Jaguar payments to them (CEO' s & major investors). The Republicans caused this and John Roberts put a nail in the coffin. I wonder how much he was offered for stepping out of form?

This was such an ignorant post, I stopped reading at the first paragraph. You must have missed the part where studies are showing Obamacare is more expensive and has higher deductibles and co-pays than what you can get privately on the market for those healthy young adults who said they needed Obamacare to be able to afford insurance (all hail the smartphone and its importance!).

As to being dropped, what's wrong with saving some money on health insurance premiums when your uterus is gone and you don't need maternity care? Suddenly, under the ACA, that's a problem and the government in all its wisdom has decided that despite not having a uterus, you must purchase a policy with pregnancy coverage. And so the costs go up.

Americans should have the right to choose their coverage. Let's talk facts, not rhetoric.

Oh, but it's not the same basic coverage. All the freebies have to be covered, maternity care must be covered for those without a uterus and each insured American is charged a fee for Obamacare, whether they purchase through the exchanges or not.

Another ignorant post, so afraid to admit the truth that you blame Bush.

Bush did not bribe Congress for their votes to pass this thing, did he?

Bush did not gleefully hold up a piece of paper and say "You'll know what's in the bill when you pass the bill!", did he?

Admit it. This is an epic fail, and it doesn't have a thing to do with the Republicans. Obama signed it. He paraded actors portraying sick folk to get the point across. Baucus had single payer advocates arrested while he was writing the bill.

Don't even try to blame the Republicans. It's ignorant and lame, at best.

WW, everyone is affected now. It's Bush's fault because he had six years to keep this from happening! He allowed the status quo to continue which opened a door for this legislation. None of this would've happened if he had acted. Now, Teabaggers are being re- active, instead of proactive when it counted.

Rush Limbaugh:ďYouíve got to make sure that when it fails, the right people get blamed, and this is what Obama canít even do. You have to competently, in an evil mastermind kind of way, design the failure so that it looks like itís the fault of who? The insurance companies, the hospitals, the doctors, the pharmacies, and, of course, the Republicans. Everybody EXCEPT government.Ē

I believe it was passed by Democrats and zero Republicans AFTER Bush left office. There are 8 bills passed by the House sitting in the Senate that have not been allowed to see the light of day.

Rewind, Con. Bush had a majority control in BOTH houses until 2006. He got Medicare part D passed, but no health insurance reform of any significance. That is verifiable, Conservative.
He left it up to the freemarket (wealthy power elites) which caused millions to go uninsured and using E.R.'s for primary care, thus creating a vacuum of people who wanted coverage but couldn't afford the premiums.
Enters Barry O, to finish the work that Bill and Hillary couldn't accomplish. Now, we're all screwed with outrageous increases.
If you conservatives ever gain control again, you had better be more cognitive of our growing under- class, and the financial issues that plagues them.

You covered most of the names to use to blame others. Why wasn't anything done? Perhaps it was because until we got obamacare you didn't realize nothing was broken.

85% of Americans had insurance. The other 15% could be broken down into many groups which would include part-time workers who had no insurance on their jobs but were covered by a spouses coverage. Another segment simply didn't want to spend the money but regardless NO ONE in America was ever denied medical assistance. Hospitals by law had to treat you even if you had no insurance.

Simple fixes to existing law would have covered any problems like prohibiting denial of coverage for pre-existing condition. I would have added however that you had to have had healthcare coverage in the years previous.

We have Medicaid for the poor.

Health Insurance doesn't control cost it pays bills but cost have to an extent been placed under some control. Look at your bill and see the cost and then the negotiated payment.

The Dems own this and ALL the other liberal programs they come up with.

Stop saying the Fed this and the Fed that. In the end you are paying just like the 630 million for the obamacare website.
