I am saddened tonight for the loss of Stephanie for both her family and community. She was a tireless fighter and fundraiser for breast cancer research.

PLEASE, let the loss of both Stephanie and Heather Pick serve as a catalyst for women to INSIST their doctors continue recommending mammograms at age 40, rather than the new recommendations of 50. Early detection is KEY to fighting this terrible disease. Without it, we would have lost these VERY YOUNG women even sooner.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Spielman family.

Stephanie, you were and are my hero! I cherish the opportunity I had to meet you during the first Buckeye Cruise for Cancer. Your family will benefit during this transition from the remembered strength of your character and the strong love and faith of your family. I know I'll be calling on your example to give me strength during my continuing battle with breast cancer

Chris, God bless you and keep you and the children in this very tough time. May God and your faith sustain you.

I went to high school with Stef. Even though I wasn't popular, she was still kind to me. Our world is a little less kind and compassionate without her. God bless her and her family.

I was sitting at my computer and had just opened up the "Nominate the Champion in your life" "Celebrating the Champions in the lives of cancer survivors" brochure I had received in the mail when I went to the Dispatch website and saw the news about Stefanie's passing. I know this may not be the forum for nominating the champion in my life, but in my heart of hearts for me and so many others, our champion is the one for which this award was initiated, Stephanie Spielman. She has done so much to affect so many people's lives in a positive way, including mine, that it would only be fitting for her to recieve this award posthumously. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Spielman family and it is my hope and belief that they will continue on with their positive impact on not only our community, but the world.

Such a courageous woman, an angel among us. My thoughts are with the family and I hope that they can take some small comfort in knowing that she is in a better place and she is at peace.

God bless and strengthen Chris and his family during their time of loss. I met Stefanie nine years ago at the Value City Furniture processing center. She was talking about the "Race for the Cure" and urging people to get involved in any way that they could. She was a classy person who will be missed.

God's blessings upon the Spielman family--I don't say that Stephanie lost the Battle--she beat it a long time ago with her strength, courage, integrity and through touching so many lives---she's a winner in my book---GO BUCKS!

Stefanie is now with God who will protect her. God Bless her greatest supporter, her husband, Chris. God will be with you. May her legacy live on. She has been an inspiration to all women who have been affected by breast cancer and even those who haven't. She inspires women to get their mammograms. I agree with Jim Wilkin, she should be the winner of the of the Celebrating Champion award. No one is more deserving.

Know this Spielman Family, untold hearts are broken, not only in Columbus, but around the world, you can be sure. You have touched the lives of so many that would reach out to comfort you. Many you know personally, but many more you have never met. They share your heartache, and revel in your fortitude. Bless you.

To Chris, the children and the entire family and friends of Stefanie Speilman's. Our hearts and prayers are going out tonight with a very heavy heart. Stefanie was a true warrior in the fight against breast cancer. This world has lost a True Angel, but Heaven has gained a Beautiful Angel. I just pray that Faith will help see Chris and the children through. Stefanie will always be remembered and never forgotten.
God Bless
