Time to put an end to Kim Jung Il's regime! We have placated this dictator and his cult worship for years. Turn Pyongyang into a glass lined parking lot and be done with it.

Never mind the fallout that would blanket a portion of South Korea and half of Japan. Do America a favor and never, ever venture beyond her borders.

This is really China speaking and we need to prepare for their obvious hostile intentions for the future.

I spent 13 months on the Korean DMZ in the 1980's. How about you? I earned the right to voice my opinion.

North Korean just needs eliminated period. They have threatened everyone and anyone because our leaders have caused the US to become pansies. And we will take what ever they do because we have nothing left to fight with.

Rest assured that full scale war on the Korean peninsula would go nuclear. With the first likely targets of North Korean nuclear tipped missiles being American bases in Japan, Okinawa, Guam, and possibly Hawaii if the North Koreans have been successful in adding legs to their latest missile.

We'd do well to remember that North Korea is one of the few nations that can engage in a total war with the United States. The US war planners recognize this fact. For example, on March 7, 2000, Gen. Thomas A Schwartz, the US commander in Korea at the time, testified at a US congressional hearing that "North Korea is the country most likely to involve the United States in a large-scale war."

N Korea has nowhere to go with it's threat. It's not going to nuke S Korea ... N Korea needs economic assistance ... and would like to take over S Korea ... but what's the point if it is radioactive? N Korea does not have a guidance system for it's missles ... anyone can hit the Pacific ocean ... but I doubt they could even hit the USA ... while we on the other hand can put one right in Kim Il's left ear. I think the best thing we could do is fly a stealth bomber over Pyongyang, and drop leaflets on the capital steps ... "This time it is paper" ... and remind him who he is dealing with.

Are you sure North Korea was aiming at the Pacific Ocean? It would be funnier if they were and missed! LOL!

No, unless you can accept a black suit as being a uniform.

Yes, once a year from 1969 to 2002.

Your thinking that only military service entitles one to an opinion on Korea is misguided.

Having actual experience on the ground in the snow and mud makes me more guided than you. So you have no military experience and therefore do not have a 'clue' as to the military and political situation other than what you may read. Okay...at least we are now dealing in facts. Trying to make any sense out of what the North Korean leadership may do at any given moment, much less what it will take to win the unfinished war on the penisula, is not as easy at what CNN or Bill Clinton makes it out to be. So therefore my opionion is a qualified one. As for you...just another ditherer with words and let's give peace a chance...sorry it hasn't worked since 1953 and will not work now.
