Medicare and medicaid are NOT accepted by many doctors now and haven't been for 10 years. I can name two I know personally. Not too many private practitioners can afford to be 'out of pocket' for a quarter million of more for 12 to 24 months.
Obamacare is going to add more to the list for two reasons. Tt lowers what the doctor will be reimbursed and it is going to require participation in abortions.
They will not do it. They will walk away in droves. What you fail to accept, is that anti-abortion folks do not have a political agenda at all. It is purely a moral issue. "Thou shalt not kill." Period. Black and white. No gray.
Obamacare is a bad concept, put forward on a partisan vote and will cause one gigantic screw up all over the country, while bankrupting us even further.

You're the one who asked about my kids first, moron.
What part of "full time student under age 23" don't you understand? It was that way when I was in college, too.

No, as a matter of fact, I believe that you led off by declaring my children to be losers.

Now go phish somewhere else, bully.

And, for the record, prior to Obamacare there was certainly no universal requirement that family coverage be extended to anyone over the age of 18.

Turns out that the more affordable exchange plans will have limited availability of docs and medical facilities. I believe that SanFran tried universal health care, or maybe they still have it; problem is, it was too difficult for the poor to get to the doctors who would accept the plan. That may have changed recently, though.

Merit includes following the rules. You people hate that idea when it doesn't go your way. One more example that proves leftists are children.

<quoted text>could face high cost for medications? they fucking do face high costs for medications. that was thanks to MMM signed into law on Dec 08 2003. Do you remember your outrage when the pharmaceutical company actually DID write the law of the land for the Medicare Precription Drug Modernization Act? Do you remember what happened IMMEDIATELY after the act was passed. Oh yeah, the price of prescription medications skyrocketed across the board and Medicare is now unable to negotiate the prices of those prescriptions thanks to the law like the insurance companies are able to.
HOW SOON WE FUCKING FORGET.
So you live in your land of COULD HAPPENS while the rest of us live in the world of IT DID HAPPEN.
Here's something else that happens. Medicare or "the insurance company" say they will only pay for a certain number of units of a medication in a 90 day period. The patient either pays out of pocket or does without. Its pretty simple for the provider, isn't it?

free stuff, you mean like not paying taxes but reaping the benefits from those who do? kind of like our highway system that I'm sure large corporations never use on a daily basis to ship goods across the country with. why should they have to pay taxes for shit like infrastructure after all. they're the makers not the takers.
you sure have it twisted don't you bub.
tax cuts and not paying taxes is the ultimate free stuff. apple just got 44 billion in free stuff this year.

I don't think corporations should pay ANY taxes. They just include it in the cost they charge you for their stuff., so who's really paying it?

If we DIDN'T charge them taxes, they could attract more investors, be more competitive in foreign markets, lower prices, ect., resulting in more jobs, and as the available labor pool shrinks, higher wages... Somehow I don't think most people would mind paying higher income tax since they'll have JOBS to pay it with!

You continue to deny anything ouside your personal experience. If all employers were committed to taking care of all their employees we wouldn't be facing the access issues that we are.

I work for a multinational with over 50,000 employees. You expect Joe's Garage with 15 employees to be able to do that?

The states are allowed to decide the abortion issue. Last I read, the states that are allowing abortion are only doing so in the cases of rape, incest and threat of the mother's life. But those three instances ARE covered by the exchanges.

Each level of coverage will have certain doctors and facilities and as I understand it, the lower coverages will have limited lists to choose from.
