Fire officials are investigating how fast two fire battalion chiefs were driving in city-issued SUVs, while police-union representatives want to know how public the tracking data will be, especially for take-home and undercover vehicles.

how about the GPS units history are public archived, because the vehicles belong to the public?
checks and balances.
who cares what a Union official says....it is not their vehicle to have an opinion on.
anyone breaking law in public owned vehicle has a 3 strike rule.
