Lawful immigration only benefits the Democrat Party who need a permanent underclass so that they can wage constant class warfare against their political enemies.

Food stamp fraud is rampant in the Somalia Community costing tax payers millions.

Your full of chit. My wife is a lawful immigrant and is as solid Republican and Conservative as you can get. Both of us are dead set against any form of amnesty or making illegals legal. Come here legally or stay the h**l out.

During times of low un-employment it might but during times of high un-employment is doesn't.

My grandparents immigrated legally into the US from Germany, my father (deceased) was a conservative and 3 out of 5 children are conservative voters!

The remaining two are off and on conservatives, government workers who vote according to their needs/desires.

It is not always about employment, rarely if ever are all fields completely filled, sometimes it is to start a business that will employ others and sometimes it is for totally different reasons but I do agree we need to both control it and be very selective. That is what LEGAL immigration is all about, proper regulation of it.

Yeah, keep letting in the lowly muslim stone agers in and you'll be flying a rug facing Mecca soon. Who can be so stupid to not see we are becoming a cesspool handing out candy to the turds floating by. I noticed a muzzie family fresh off the boat parading to their newly rented suburban house, and noticed a big crescent moon flag covering the entire picture window.
Arrogant creeps, planting a flap, flippin the bird to the infidels.
Attention all Christian hating libtards. You might want to consider that the backward thinking Christian ethics and societal mores of our post dark age society has allowed your kind to prosper without repression. None of your daughters were required to endure female circumcision.

With LEGAL immigration we can and do decide which countries we will accept people from and how many. Now we may want to debate those countries and numbers but at least we decide and make limits. Right now we are full up on nearly all low and medium skilled jobs and we shouldn't be taking anyone that may want to harm us or will be a burden on us. We have enough from mexico too, folks from other countries can contribute too.

Recessionís pain reaching deep into the economic recovery

The downward trajectory of median incomes in the wake of the recession adds to the stagnation in middle-class wages that has dogged workers for more than 10 years.

We take in over a million a year, which is far too many in times of high unemployment. Not to mention that far too many are being sourced for the political reasons of assisting the Democrats.

IMO, we should not take any more applicants until the current backlog goes away, which will take about 10 years. Birthright citizenship and chain immigration should also end, as in Australia.

Even the Washington Post can not ignore the fact that middle income Americans are and have been seeing their quality of life decline as the redistribution of wealth from the middle class to the poor and rich continues. Socialism is not working in the U.S. and it never has worked anywhere because humans are by nature greedy.

Birthright for kids of non citizens ending is a must. The chain needs to be shortened for sure maybe ended. Immigration from certain countries that have flooded us against our will yes, for many years to come. Cut over all numbers coming in for a while, most likely needed. at least until we start thinning the illegals.

Deportation of illegals as we find them and enforcement of all our immigration laws a must. the 10 year back log I don't believe but whatever it is it can be cut by proper management by our government and right now they simply want it screwed up so they can pass IR.

There are a lot of interest groups that don't want the laws enforced. Cheap labor is the main reason, emboldened by lower work ethics in the native population due to decades of transfer payments.

The reason the backlog exists is because of "chain immigration" resulting from "family reunification" created in 1965.

What this means is that you can bring over a certain number of relatives, but it takes a long time because the court system can only process so many per year.

http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2013-07-06...

Presidents since Reagan have had no interest in fixing this and enforcing the deportations because it creates the large population in limbo, which both political party establishments and the D party base, want legalized for electoral benefit.

So when I agreed with you and said "The chain needs to be shortened for sure maybe ended." that would go a long way to cutting the ten year back log as I suggested could be done.

Of course there are groups that want the laws ignored, they are called criminal organisations but we shouldn't bow to them, we should bust them. They need to be put in there place.

I have no doubt the system need modification but not an entire trashing like the open border/amnesty crowd demands.

So far we agree on most everything about this issue.

Statistics prove that these people consume far more in benefits (e.g., food stamps, WIC, Section 8) than they will ever repay in taxes or positive contributions, especially the Africans as is seen in vast abuse of the food stamp program in that community.

Immigration from Europe is positive.

Immigration from Mexico and Africa is a huge negative especially when you factor in all the diseases these people carry like tuberculosis, whooping cough, bed bugs, shigellosis and other blights.

It makes no sense to bring in more immigrants (especially from Africa) when our Negros have so many problems in their blighted communities with various sociological dysfunctions and pathologies.

Commit 56% of armed robbery.

Not exactly, there are plenty of "Europeans" (Travelers, Roma) who we don't really need here, and some Mexicans (rich) and Africans (Afrikaners, Copts) who would be beneficial.

You don't provide any sources or links and because of the constant deceitful blending of legal immigrant/visa holders it is impossible to give your statements enough credibility to debate.

I am willing to discuss any of these points further if you would like to provide them as I believe some may have merit. I do not believe immigration should be a burden on us or put us at risk of our health. Legal immigration has the ability to weed that stuff out or at least minimize it if our government chooses to use it properly.

Also note, with LEGAL immigration it is our CHOICE who we accept and who we decline. Illegal immigration is done specifically to prevent us having any say in the matter.

Do you have the government statistics on the actual number of legal immigrants we allow in from each country and if so can you point out specifically which country numbers you object too?

This debate has already occurred and the late Ted Kennedy made sure that we take in all the third worlder's. Change it now and listen for the howls of racism. You can hear those same howls when talk turns to stopping the Mexican invasion. Look it up. We used to have a policy of taking in educated folk that could contribute to our society. Need to stop all but essential immigration for a decade or more. Send Paco packing and increase work permits with strict overstay. Actually you could just end welfare and all freebie bennies to all non U.S. citizens and require a REAL verified SSN to work here. They would go home of thier own accord.
