Really?? Some people are not able to clean their own home. My Grandma is 99 years old and lives alone and needs a little help once and awhile. She does not deserve to have her jewerly stold my stupid thieves. Maybe you should think before you open your mouth!(go back to school and learn to spell) idiot!!

I was caught in one of those step back and rethink moments. I saw the name of the thief and thought, "she's black". WRONG! As far as hiring cleaners, there are those of us who really, really need work right now and thank God for those who are willing to pay for a cleaner. Just sad that one bad apple can have an effect on those hard working people who want to make an honest buck.

I don't care who or why they had a housekeeper. They paid wages. They employed someone. They don't deserve to have anything stolen by anyone..WTF difference does color make. I get so sick of the racist bs on here. Why dont you grow up..thats not a question..it is a statement of dismay how someone can keep such a childish attitude.

looks like she has two piece's of the jewelry on her mug shot. the pawn shop should be looked into big time and asked how can they see someone 2 or 3 times a week without a red flag going up. and they said first time for receiving stolen propety? how did she RECEIVE anything stolen? is that the same charge?

What I was trying to say is that I was wrong - it wasn't mean, it was admission of guilt. How could anyone take my comment as mean? I agree, the comments often take a racist turn, and should not.

I know most of you who are reading this can't afford a housekeeper but it is hard to find one that you can trust. This one looks like a real thief. I have a motto if they are going to steal from you they should be at least good looking .

Pawn shops know good and well that much of what they receive is stolen. What is really amazing is that you have to pay the pawn shop guy to get back what was stolen from you. They are legal fences who work hand in glove with criminals--and with the compliance of CPD. Lets be honest.

i don't think you have to pay the pawn if you can prove that it was yours. if here name was on something of yours and she also cleaned your house. i don't know them loop holes to get out of that?? i watch hardcore pawn,''educational show'' hard to say what she kept or got rid of on the street? i bet someone will say they had the mona lisa and jimmy hoffa though.

I just looked up stold and here is the definition jerk ~~ 2. stold taken, removed without permission!! or #1 is even a better definition for you ~~ 1. Stold Means virtual bitch-slap, or a person had a really good comeback in a arguement. But yes it was a typo error but at least I can type the entire word and not just a couple of letters!!

I am a single mom of 2 boys and I am a full time student along with working a full 40+ hours a week. I barely have time to see my children let alone clean my home so I pay a girl $150.00 a week to clean for me. That does not mean I deserve to be stolen from that means that I am a woman who is doing all she can for her children. Also yes there are many elderly and disabled people in this world who most of which live on fixed incomes anyway do not deserve to be stolen from either! Think it all the way through before you talk trash mouth!

When I went on vacation, someone broke into my house and stole a few pieces of jewelry that was eventually recovered. I was told by the detective working the case to take a copy of my police report and my ID to the "Cash To Go" pawn shop on W. Broad St. to claim my items. When I got there, the man at the counter looked up the property in a book and asked me for $250. I explained that my house had been broken into and that I was a victim of crime. That did not matter, unless I was paying him the $250 I was not getting my property back. I called the detective and he told me that I had to pay it and that I could sue the thief after he was convicted. There has yet to be a conviction 2 years later. I did pay the $250 for my jewelry but I still think what they did was wrong (I can't believe the pawnbrokers don't realize it's stolen property when they only pay $250 for a 1 1/2carat diamond ring and a simple but heavy gold necklace).
