Hope this helps...I am not familiar with the line, but here is a brand specific link.

Since 99% of what I do is new commercial lighting, mostly my guys only need a simple voltage ticker to double check for hot circuits... or a continuity tester to identify open circuits.......

here are some reviews

Thanks. I was hoping you had one or knew someone that had one to get an idea of how well they really work and last. Diana the past Ideal rep has loaned the set to me with the inductive attachment. But everything works when it still has the wrapper on but what about a year from now?

Like any of the test gear, I suppose it depends on frequency of use and method of storage......

Frankly without looking at the tester that I have had for years, I could not even tell you the brand name.( It's currently in a gang box on a site) I attribute it's long life to the fact that it has a foam secondary case that saves it when someone drops it and a waterproof storage case........

We use it rarely and mostly just to check continuity on a new circuit that is dead......

I demand that all my guys carry a ticker though and USE it before they touch a circuit.

The brand I bought was: Greenlee.
I noticed them the most on job-sites and they were recommended by a few people.

I have a greenlee. It is a glorified circuit breaker finder. They took over progressive electronics and do have one.for.tracing buried phone lines or.dead electric. I haven't found a rep that has one to demo yet.

No, I haven't seen anyone with that kind of tool in a while.
Greenlee- Little Kicker (offset bender)
eBay & Amazon has them for a lil over $200

I have found the 3/4 sized.one on craigslist but.not.the 1/2 one.. current has the same.sized.ones but not any cheaper. Guess if I have to pay greenlee prices might as well get a greenlee
