<quoted text>Thanks...wife and I and even the kids have been trying to remember the name of it.
You have a wife and kids?

And here I have been comforting myself that you probably live a lonely existence in some moldy basement somewhere.

I hope your wife keeps an eye on things.

<quoted text>My Mom liked some dip that they sold. I would ride my bike to pick it up for her. When I go back home, still know which building was Lawson's.
Forgive me for reminiscing about a simpler time.
Circle K still sells Lawsons Dip.(Dairy Mart bought out Lawsons and Circle K bought out Dairy Mart, so they kept the dip.

Actually, in 1933, Cincinnati's Albers Supermarket became the first store to actually use the term "supermarket".

When I was a kid we had Kroger, A&P, Super Duper and Big Bear stores close by. All but Kroger are gone now. A&P may still have a few stores in the south. Gee thanks, Walmart./sarc
