Oh hell, Obama is up to his old tricks of buying votes again and changing the subject on the scandal of the day.

Last Monday and Tuesday it was the VA scandal. Then Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday it was Bergdahl. So today it's student loans. The only truth about this deception is when asked about the costs on Monday, Education Secretary Arne Duncan said the administration won't know how much it will cost until they go through the rule-making process to put the expansion in place.

"We actually don't know the costs yet," Duncan said. "We'll figure that out on the back end."

When they tell you that it means drop your drawers and grab a handful, and you'll get in the back end.

Student loans for college education? When did parents stop saving to put their kids through college. It's what our parents did. It's what we did.

Have you priced tuition lately?
The average Doe Family cannot set aside $100-200k per child.
Particularly in the recent economy.

As a side note, it is my firm belief that college students should have some, if not most, of the skin that game.

Nothing valuable is free.

It will get cheaper just like we reduced the deficit...

Not crying. Angry.
The student loan industry is the next financial bubble to burst.
Meaning I and every other working American will be forced by our unconstitutional government to bailout the irresponsible within our society...yet again.
Wrong, or shall I say another weak deflection? The Big 3, social security, medicare and medicaid are the next and the next and the forever next financial bubble to burst. Thanks to the useless parasite baby boomers we are in debt since the 70's.

We'll just follow your footsteps and pass the debt to the next generation, it's been this way for decades.

They should have earned degrees in something worthwhile and from reasonably priced universities. Someone going to Capital to be a kindergarten teacher on a loan is financial lunacy
A college degree is really worthless these days. They inflated the price and the graduates getting scammed. I saw so many graduates waiting tables. It's best to teach yourself and start a career in a technical institution to become a mechanic or something useful.

There is no "passing the debt."
Implosion is next. It will be the college loan debacle.

They can't pay back the loans because the policies created by this empty suit have stifled economic growth.

So we have a bunch of educated burger flippers that can't pay back and average of $30K in debt.

And if you think that $7.25 an hour will allow an adult with a degree still living at home to pay back 10% is a relief get a clue.

Once again, another crisis created due to liberal policies addressed by liberal moves that don't solve the problem.

Time for govt to get out of our lives and our wallets.

The lib answer to this is max the amount of payback at 10%. Now that graduate is paying back $.72/hour. Not enough!

So the lib answer to this is to raise the minimum wage to $10 so they can now pay back $1/hour. Brilliant!

Remember this will spur economic growth according to the resident loon Pelosi.

Never do they look at the increasing tax burden, fees, regulations and so many more things this administration has brought on the American people.

Did they ever answer or they must be too busy dining with Goldman Sachs. Again it is up to my generation to bail out the debacles created by people who are on Hoverrounds subsidized by Uncle Sam, shake my head.

And insurance companies.
And labor unions.
And econuts.
