I don't see any lining up at Village hall. What's wrong with the officers currently employed?

Police and Firefighters are require to live in the town that they serve in. However it is unlikely that the force that they accept their badge from is the town that they live in. So every town has their own ordience for this. East Aurora requires an officer to purchase their residents within a 6 month time frame of the date of swearing in (certain circumstances allow for an extention). EAPD is a hard district to get into due to a high salary, location, and manpower (how many police the town allots.

Just what East Aurora needs is another policeman to man the multiple radar traps around town. Good Grief. Town and village should be patrolled by the county sheriff.
