It sucks that a guy was shot but it shows the Campus police are going to protect the current students from criminals. The former student came for one reason which was to break the law and rob from another student. He no doubt felt the Police weren't up to the task. He got this from the faculty who go home to thier safe suburban homes. Well criminals, wake up, these officers intervened, pursued and when placed in a life or death struggle they prevailed. So bad guys, go somewhere else to do your dirty work, my personal suggestion would be Canada but Bergen County works also. Charlie, AKA Robocop 3

Ahhhh... wake up hunny... he was NOT a criminal...get your facts straight. HE WAS MURDERED by a PREJUDICE "wanna b cop" for being arabic. he was up there putting flyers on cars, FYI william paterson VERIFIED it. and check ur facts and you'll find that they have no reason for shooting him, he was shot while on his knees with the cuffs on... a coroner verified that the bullet entered in a downward angle meaning he was shot by someone standing above him! he was not armed, so even IF he was breaking into a car, since when does that give ANYONE the right to shoot?! you'll feel like an idiot for talking ill of the dead when it breaks and hits the airways that his death was police brutality. too bad that he wasnt a minority, that would have gotten all over the news all over the united states! unfortunately he was arabic.(not muslim tho, but still arabic...) i hope that cop that shot him and his little buddies rot in jail.

Wrong dumbass, the guy was a criminal, the way the justice system crucifies law enforcement the police would be strung up if there was any chance the criminal was helpless. He was fighting for the officers gun to kill the officer. The officer was a man working for his family and the safety of the University students. The low life thug who got what he deserved was a parrasite who fed off the poor students who work their butts off to get through school. Those students are under seige by a horrible criminal element on that campus and an administration which covers crime stats up. Your statements were the worst form of talking to hear yourself talk.

He didn't die. Also he wasn't in handcuffs at the time verified by witness's. Why would he run five stop signs trying to run when he was inocent? He was shot becuase he is an arab? The police force is mostly made up from minorities. The reasons he made for being there were proven lies. your argument is wrong becuase all your facts are wrong. you didn't even know he was alive. jesus

If he was attempting to grab the policeman's gun, then the officer was justified in shooting him. If you feel police have violated your rights, then you hire a lawyer, contact a legislator, and talk to the media. You don't go shooting at the law!
