This trial seemed to be a kangaroo court. I can't see how she could have been convicted of "premeditated murder", being obviously mentally and/or emotionally disturbed! The judge was noticeably biased, even admonishing her for showing emotions, naturally it is emotional for her. Think about it! Had she been planning (premeditating)and mentally balanced, she could have easily had a "legal" abortion almost up to her time of delivery, or gone somewhere for a few days and after delivery, given the babies away. Then there would have been no crime.
Also, if she was thinking sanely, even after the delivery, would have hidden or disposed of the dead babies. I am not a doctor, but believe at the least, she suffered physical and/or emotional "shock" when she delivered the babies at home!
Justice was NOT served in Sumner County in this mockery of a trial. Her attorney was right to request a mis-trial. I hope for the sake of all residents of Sumner County, an appeal will be filed and this sham of a trial will be thrown out. The Judge should be impeached (or however Judges are recalled) for openly exhibiting such bias.

Shame on the mother I donít know then why she waited hardly ten months to give birth she should be punished very badly and she doesnít know the love and the affection of the baby. Many womenís suffering daily that they were not able to bear a child but in spite of giving birth to twins she doesnít know the value.I donít know whether she is the original mother because how could she kill a new born baby like this shame on her. She is not a mother and she is a devil
