Former inmate pleads guilty to federal student aid fraud
United States Attorney Bill Nettles stated today that Michelle Owens, 35, of Florence, SC, who is a former inmate at Leath, South Carolina Correctional Institution, pled guilty in federal court on Monday, June 6th, in Florence, SC to one count of federal student financial aid fraud and one felony count of mail fraud.
