The city is really trying to make the bus ridership go away. They still have 107,000 plus riders and wish it were zero so they would not have to deal with complaints and cost. Making the service as repulsive as possible is one way of moving in thee desired direction. Fobbing the service off to another entity would also be fine. The bike riding jitney from Royal Oak is not the answer. Allowing private car jitneys could take some load.
