Christie Ward sets goal for 2009 Miss Texas pageant

This girl is everything pageant girls shouldn't be. She placed 15th, they do not do a top 15 at Miss Texas, only a top 10. Many statements are misleading.

They do announce a top 15 at the awards banquet after the pageant. Just because its not announced on stage does not diminish it's truth. Christie, while not placing higher, she has worked hard and promotes a platform which is more than the majority of women her age do...so stop with your judgmental and baseless comments.

WOW!! You obviously do not understand the full concept of what pageants are. Thats OK most people that do not win or have never competed-do not understand what pageants are about or what the girls/women gain from competing.

[understanding pageants]

pageants get a bad rap because of rude aweful girls like this one. pageants are very good, and can be used for stepping stones to bigger and better things. however, contestants with or without crowns are remodels. how they act win they don't win, or behind and off the stage shows who they really are, and a "pageant" girl doesn't get much uglier than this one we are talking about.

well just to let you know. i dated christie and she's not all that she portrays herself to be. she is a liar, a cheater, and a manipulative. she smokes drinks and does drugs on occasion. not to mention the premiscuity. the face she has when she does her pageant is only a mask. shes a fake in every sense of the word. not a role model for anyone. she eve said so herself. "i dont even know what i want or who i am"

people shouldnt judge its not right. what she does on her own time is her business! i went to school with her and worked with her at one point so i know a little about her. she is a good person and i take her side. she might not be a role model to some people but that doesnt matter. its not like anybody is forced to be a role model. if you don't like her then turn the other way. worry about your own lives! anyone who judges her will be judge by god one day so all you out there doing that to her will be punished as well! dang people is that all you do with your lives is judge people!?! don't yall have anything better to do?!?!? you paople piss me off!!!!! and i bet her too...

For the record.....it is God with a capital G. When you do things like pageants, you are putting yourself out there to be a remodel. They should call girls like this out, and have. And look where she is now....nowhere.

she got knocked up and had a baby with another man while we were together, and got married just in time. all in all im not bitter. just hope she's happy.
