Released on a personal recognizance bond? The judge is an idiot and should be removed from the bench for incompetence. This is murder you D.A. It it certainly aggrevated battery resulting in death. This clown (the defendant, not the clown on the bench) needs to be held without bail and should be facing at least twenty years without parole. Come on people, get real and get the scum off our streets.

Liberal societies have liberal judges. If you want to get back to real judges, become a conservative, vote conservative, and quit being an "entitlement baby".
Old joke time: Define conservative.
Answer: A liberal who got mugged last night!

Dear Nick:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3: 5-6
Know that we are praying for you and your family during this hard time. Though you will have to pay the consequences of your actions, if you keep the Lord first, I am certian He will make things turn around for you and the little girl whos life has been drastically changed. Know that there are people who do care for you and your family and love you very much!

The reason he is probably out on personal bond is probably due to his injuries. When the jail accept an inmate he has to be medically ok because the county is responsible for their medical bills when they are incarcerated.

Had a similar thing happen in Norfolk just a couple of weeks ago.
Our interstates (I64 and loops; and I95, etc) are shooting galleries. And the commonwealth is barely able to keep the aggressive as well as those who drive at 9mph in check.
I stay off the interstates whenever possible. Still a lot of dopey drivers, but at least not 'Dodge City'.
