According to CNN the GOP candidate was down 15% in the polls. Looks like the big blue wave is a ripple.

tRump won the district by 21 percentage points in 2016, but returns showed Lesko winning by just 5 percentage points.

Republican political consultant Chuck Coughlin called the margin 'not good' for national Republicans looking at their chances in November.

No need, liberal won in New York, a seat occupied by Republicans since 1978

There is. Stay out of the surf.

Close race in a solidly red Republican district.

Enough to warrant putting a financial investment into for Nov midterm elections

CNN had the GOP down 15 points. How'd that work out for you?

Wasn't a big blue wave suppose to come in 2016 to finish all of Obama's "good" work. Looks like Obama's good work got President Trump elected.

The seat was not held by the Republicans since 1978, and it was a seat in Brooklyn. Brooklyn is hardly a Republican stronghold. Nice try!!

Why would the GOP candidate be down at all in a deep red district?

Were there some mitigating factors? A payoff to a porn star? Secret meetings with Russian officials? A scandal about the GOP candidate mostly playing golf instead of doing work? Why would any poll show the GOP candidate behind?

The answer is that CNN LIES. They don't poll public opinion, they try to influence it.

Ah, yes. Of course. When in doubt, blame the "lying" media. Seems to work for Herr drumpf.

Good thing I only really pay attention to what they say about US politics from outside of the US borders, then.

Even a progressive socialist liberal, such as yourself, can't dispute the rate of polling error CNN has. Tell me, how were they so wrong?

Does CNN get to vote?

Looking at the numbers, I’d say support for president Slimeball has dropped 16% in one of the ‘reddest’ areas of the country.

Two different elections with not as many people voting. How did CNN have the GOP down 15 % , and GOP candidate wins by 5 or 6 percent.

Vladimir Putin installed his blind Puppet, who's currently in our Oval Office,, in the mix and placed his thumb on the scale of Justice.

Trump's in the WH because of the fear of the White culture in the US losing their dominance, here and globally.

But to more important matters.

Flight records obtained by Bloomberg contradict the timeline Trump gave to Comey for why the pee tape couldn’t have happened.

That means there's a Pee, pee video out there probably with Russian subtitles.

What else is true in that infamous dossier
