Apparently, the deceased went by the alias, "Smoke". I can only guess what this was in relation to. This is a sad symptom of the greater ill. Drugs are no good and have become the biggest problem in Barren Co. Do you think worthless toads like Greer or Eaton will do anything about it? Nope. They keep milking the system, collecting their checks and kickbacks like the socialists that they both are!

Well, the victim's family takes priority. Jeremy Viers family can still visit with him. The victim's family is not as fortunate. This goes to show how drugs have ruined society.
well i agree smoke lost his life to a coward who was to scared to fist fight so he had to act like a big bad ass and kill smoke. i fell so bad for smoke's entire family.. i will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. and may smoke rest in peace. and god will give the family strength to get thru this. as for jeremy i don't feel bad for him i think he deserves to have like in prison with no chance at parol ever. but i do for for his mother knowing her son killed an innocent young man who had his whole life ahead of him.glasgow is getting to be as bad if not worser than the larger cities. parents need to teach thier kids and if they are out of control or on drugs sign them in to a rehab instead of letting them keep going down the road they are there are too many young people dying in this town for no reason and also the unsolved murders this is a sad sad thing in glasgow.. i pray god will help to get this town back to thr way it was 25 or 30 yrs ago.

As we have seen in the past years we all know it falls back on who you know. You can get away with murder in Barren County. You just have to be connected to the right person to do it.Until this county stands up and demands answers certian people will sit back on thier butts and do nothing. It's easy for some to get rid of evidence in cases. It mysteriously dissappears if you have the money.

Self defense? Please. This guy was high on drugs when he killed the other one. If anything, he was hallucinating that the other guy was coming after him. Drugs are ruining people's lives, but you want to keep on going as if nothing is happening. Instead of doing all this dope and justifying the acts of criminals, why don't you and your friends do something for yourselves. Get off drugs and welfare before it's too late.
I agree drugs are bad wished that people would care more...

You are correct, anyone with knowledge of what truely happened has responsiblity to this young man who list his life to stand up and get real! Tell the truth, it is the only justice he (smoke aka antwon) will get at this point. Let him find peace in death, let the truth be known.
