You are another one of those on the hill that just don't get it. The State of Utah is getting ready to lay off more than 2,840 employees. Just look at
And you Senator Madsen want to spend money to index art. Every state agency should already have a system in place to record inventory items. Let them use it.
You should be ashamed to even suggest such an expenditure. I hope each voter in your district votes against you in the next election.
It's just like you and your cohorts, don't know the value of the Utah Taxpayers Dollar.
Enough already regarding your fancy living off of the Utah Taxpayer. Utah State does not need expensive art. You don't need brand new furniture in your offices that you only use 45 days per year. And most of all, you don't need to milk the Utah Taxpayer to buy your health insurance for the rest of your lives.
The state's primary duty is to provide vital services, and perform duties that no else can. Art may be important, but not more important than peoples jobs, peoples vital needs.
