They're probably having to fine tune their statements a little bit so it won't sound like old English when they read it out loud to the public

We're coming up on 3 months now since the anti-gays asked for the review. Hopefully we get a response any day now.

The only good news is if they were going to accept the case we would almost certainly have had their decision by now. The only reason for the delay can be one or two judges writing a dissent opinion.

Either way I guess the timing doesn't matter much now; we won't get a decision out of the SCOTUS on certiorari until Oct now.

On a totally different front, the Pentagon reported Thursday there has been absolutley no negative effect on morale, retention, etc after 8 months of gays serving openly.

JUST AS WE PREDICTED!

Of course that's not stopping the GOP & anti-gay harpies from screaming about the "christians" being silenced. The House Armed Services Committee added language to the 2013 Defense Authorization Bill to ensure servicemembers can speak out against anything that violates their "deeply held moral beliefs". I would love to see an athiest servicemember turn around and use that against a christiian servicemember because they felt it violated their deeply held moral beliefs!

Another related update-

The anit-gays in Washington state now have 75,002 signatures of the 120,000+ they need to get Ref 74 on the ballot.

Only 26 days left to get the remaining ~50,000 signatures.
