Husbands who do housework may have less sex, study says

Jan 31, 2013 Full story: USA Today 17

Husbands who do a lot of cooking, cleaning, laundry and other traditionally female forms of housework may do their marriages some good -- but, contrary to popular belief, they are not rewarded with more sex, a new study finds.

Have to agree. To keep the marriage going the right way, I started doing more of the house, ie, dishes, clothes washing, etc. Now I think the wife has gotten to used to it. She's finding more things to keep her interested in the house and less time keeping the husband happy.

The study was done between 1992-94. Seems a little outdated to me. Why bother publishing their findings now?

Don't hold your breath or you will surely die. Now run along and do some housework and you might get laid...but I doubt it.

I think the study and the analysis was missing some key factors.
For example, they could have asked the poeple who responded, why were the couples with the more traditional male/female roles having mo sex .. rather than just speculating on why.....
SO this might be a question to ask women here in this forum?
I have a guess ... the more macho (OR TRADITIONAL) guys who refuse to do female based chores are probably the type who won't take no for an answer from their spouse. Maybe the women are also the type who will allow the male to be more dominant and so they are less likely to say no.
The type of guys who will go for a more 50/50 role in a marriage are probably the type who won't pressure thier spouse for sex and will let her say no more often.

They may have less sex but that leaves more time for knitting and flower arranging.

Did you read the article, Einstein? It's a study from '92-94. Times have changed, you know. Besides, jimmy/milton couldn't get 'laud' if he was the last man on earth surrounded by women.
