shocker that this study is a family of 3, which does not include two parents, sad example of the decay of the family structure. i do not fault all single parent households b/c there are many reasons why there may be only one parent. but it is still a sad reflection of our current society. i do unfortunately see a large number of young women in baltimore county who are single parents of multiple children based off poor decision making and a systematic loss of values. those are the parents who i have less sympathy for.
