If it seems like severe rain and snow storms are becoming more frequent in western Washington, that's because they are.

Same pattern as the UK is seeing now. A rainy place made rainier.

It shows up most in the snows of nearby Mt. Baker, which have piled to record depths time and again in recent years, even as temps have warmed.
