Cascadia Community College is the most ineptly run school. The "blowing sunshine" mentality is alive and well in its management. They need at least two tries to get anything right. Then you're expected to smile and thank them for finally getting their act together. I suspect they consider that preparing students for the 'real' world, where they think incompetence reigns.

The classes are a joke, everyone passes. Even students who don't show up or turn anything in get A's. Half the instructors are so frustrated with the political climate they either leave after a quarter or two or get fired for 'speaking up'. That's the good ones, the incompetents stay and get tenure.

ANY move to rid the world of these buffoons would be an improvement. And the idea of foisting off this mess onto the very well organized and run LWTC is all but laughable. LWTC has no extra room, and they'd put up with those idiots for about 2 minutes.

I say get rid of the joke that is Cascadia and let the UW run that facility. At least then students may expect to be treated with respect and not have their time wasted by idiots getting $40,000 a year, to? Waste people's time and therefore justify their existence working there.

I can't beleive they're rated highly by anyone. I'd love to see an investigation into that mess there. They can start with the IT department too. Its only about 15 years out of date and run by this little monster who thinks he knows everything.

HORRIBLE school! GO ANYWHERE but there. I finally switched as most students do, and it was like night and day after that.

I'm sorry, "Former Cascadia Student", but you sir, are an idiot.

Either you are misinformed beyond help, or you are purposefully trying to falsify information.. possibly because you're angry at the school for whatever bizarre reason I don't really care about.

Lets dissect your bullshit rambling:

>> The classes are a joke, everyone passes. Even students who don't show up or turn anything in get A's.

Have you tried going above level 100 courses? You aren't going to pass any serious class by skipping out. And unlike the University of Washington in Seattle, lecture attendance is actually counted in a majority of the courses.

>> I say get rid of the joke that is Cascadia and let the UW run that facility.

Yes, lets have UW run that facility. What does UW have to offer?

1. Extremely high tuition.
2. Overpriced parking permits.
3. Pointless gimmicks to waste money for things which should be free - like lecture notes.
4. Budget cuts.
5. Looming news of the disappearing U-Pass.

Cascadia has and shows progress.. UW takes our money and disappears with it.

>> They can start with the IT department too. Its only about 15 years out of date and run by this little monster who thinks he knows everything.

This one takes the cake. First of all, do you even know how long 15 years is? If you're going to exaggerate, use realsitic figures so you don't look like a complete ass.. though something tells me that was your original goal.

Here are the correct facts:

The IT department is very much up to date, with the latest software licenses to fit any need. Adobe CS4 Master Collection, Visual Studio 2008 Professional.. you name it.

Doc-cams are readily available, and all classrooms are equipped with projector screens. This is a lot more than University of Washington in Seattle has to offer.

So please.. for the sake of everyone.. do both of us a favor and simply shut the **** up. You're a college student; you're an adult.

Grow up.
