Disgraceful. I'd like to see a breakdown of the votes.

all right all you whinners and complainers go back under your rocks and continue on with your miserable lives....Dragas will straighten the university out single handedly....students and the street rabble have absolutely no influence on political decisions or have any idea how the university operates as a business....and it is a business for sure....

You miss the point that the Rector's job is not to be popular, nor is the UVa President's . Unfortunately our political process IS about popularity, not REAL job performance.

Interesting that Helen is focusing on this NBC 29 interview of four (4) UVa students.
http://www.nbc29.com/story/20597812/uva-stude...
while completely ignoring the faculty vote of no confidence, the faculty senate vote of no confidence, the 1,800 undergrads polled, the 2,900 who voted on change.org , http://www.nbc29.com/story/20597812/uva-stude... , the 2,200 that demanded a full accounting of her actions also on change.org , the 300 member Student Council's request for more information, the ~5,000 alumni emails delivered to the BoV on June 22, 2012, and the thousands of faculty, alumni, administration and students who have rallied on the lawn, the hundreds who have contacted state legislators - all asking for her resignation. Those math skills are truly impressive.

If she retains her status symbol position at least there will always be a thread for complainers. Not that I don't blame them, shes a certifiable witch.
