Seems to me we have already sold out to China. Kerry is just a rube looking for self edification.

You're right -it was proved that the blood from his wounds was actually Heinz ketchup. I gotta run now and watch Fox News so I know who to hate next! Bye, fellow Conservitards!

Wow lots of partisanship bickering here. No wonder the prior generation left the economy and debt in the crapper. As someone who attended the speech let me try to make a few intelligent, pertinent points. Kerry gave a pretty good speech, and for a Kerry speech, it was pretty entertaining. He focused most of it on the benefits of proactive foreign policy and foreign aid rather than isolationism and costly military intervention. He really hammered on how strong economies abroad increase trade at home. Say what you want about the man and the debacle of that 2004 campaign, but foreign policy is his bread and butter. He understands diplomacy, a lot more than Hildog appeared to, and seemed to have a clear idea of how to attack problems (although he didn't give many concrete agenda points and avoided Israel completely). Overall it seems Obama has a strong diplomat back in charge of the State Department, and I think most of his ideas could find bipartisan support since they mean economic benefits for the US.

Maybe economic benefits for the rich elite, but not for humble yeomen like us...

His speech sounded more like a campaign speech than a foreign policy speech. Now he is off around the world (needlessly) giving this speech to other countries waiting for free money from the US. Santa Claus is alive and well.

I will agree, Kerry seemed downright lively for his first secstate speech, and was light on the dronetone.

Huck, I never said Hilary was unpopular, just that diplomacy was not her strong suit. She seemed to shy away from from making waves, opting rather to focus on small, incremental change.

Good article. It would be great if Kerry could break the Israel/Palestine deadlock.
Part of her legacy was her popularity abroad which improved our image as a country.

Let me tell you about this pond scum. He couldn't care less about anyone except himself. He is worth $192 MILLION. His wife is worth $1 BILLION. He had a $7 MILLION yacht built outside the USA, to avoid taxes. He cares so much about American workers. He owns a $6 MILLION chalet in CO for sking. He paid to have a fire hydrant moved from in front of his property across the street. He married for $$$ twice. He is an idiot who has done nothing except raise every one's taxes every chance he could in Taxachusetts while not paying his own. So, get your head out of his ****.. He is a joke of a man. Liberals are the deathj of LIBERTY. I know first hand about this puke.
I agree with you except about the idiot part. Kerry is no idiot, he is a conniving elitist. He couldn't have managed to do all you list if he was stupid. But like you, I don't trust the liar.

LOL! Kerry was featured as Herman Munster in this old JibJab parody video from the 2004 presidential race. See for yourself at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =z8Q-sRdV7SYXX and skip to the 0:30 minute mark.
THANK YOU!!! I couldn't remember where I first saw that!!
