There goes your hope that I wouldn't procreate.
I wouldn't go as far as to say that. By the way; I did respond with the Communism remark on the other thread because I neglected to even read what you had posted. I'm normally not that careless but I made a false assumption that you were just "corp. bashing" again so I jumped without checking for water.

It is sad to hear of minors drinking, but unfortunately, many adults in today's culture condone minors drinking and even provide it to their minor children. When will society take drinking among minors more seriously? Not only is the behavior destructive to children, but is also sends the message to them that it is ok to break the law. It all comes down to knowing right from wrong (which society can't seem to figure out because "truth" has become an opinion to many)...a concept that needs to be taught by parents well before adolescence.
Does speeding send the message that it's okay to break the law? Is the law always just, as in right vs. wrong? How about sending 18 year olds to war when they can't drink? I'm not condoning 13 and 14 year olds drinking, but I do dispute what you've posted.(Right, because you're the ultimate judge on what is fact in "truth?"?)

FWIW, It's not bashing corporations, I understand that their goal is profit maximization. What others seem to miss is that corporations have no nationality, and what is in our best interest is not always in theirs and vice versa. I love my nation, serving it was an honor.

Okay, stop with blaming the parents. Most parents do a good job teaching them right from wrong. It is the child who ultimately makes the bad decision. It could be peer pressure, having a bad day, mad at the world, your parents, boyfriend\girlfriend. Albemarle county has a great program to help the child and parents work through the issue(s).

I'm sure we're both guilty of it from time to time, and as you know; I like to do the same. I just happen to think that the game theory is a race to the bottom, and when we pit one side against the other, that's exactly what we're doing. The lesser of two evils, is still an evil. Message boards and anonymity tend to bring out the most extreme in people. I'm sure if we got together and chatted about commonalities, we wouldn't be that far off from each other.

Frankly, if I had to go to a school where they taught that communism was good, evolution was a fact, and other liberal garbage, I would probably need a drink to get through the day.

And what program would that be?

Apparently, it was moonshine, according to my son who attends this school. He then asked me, what is moonshine?
