That's right! I think these days the schools are teaching our children to make the parents to be afraid to whoop their kids, they are always telling the kids "if anyone puts their hands on you just tell us and we will take care of it". Well now that these kids are coming to school drunk and putting their hand on principals now that want to cry wolf, take care of it!! That is what is wrong with the kids today NO DISCIPLINE!!! Parents get a grip do it right and you will have a better child and a more RESPECTFUL one who will grow up with morals. However some of these people taht are having children don't need them. Whoop their A&& every now and then when they mess up and they won't do it later in life.

And today the parent would be hauled into court for child abuse for either leaving the liquor bar unlocked or the whipping.
So it's ok to set bad examples for your kids...as long as you beat the H3LL out of them afterwards?

I agree with you but the parents is the ones who need punishing for leaving it so they can get there hands on it or maybe even giving it to them. They can keep the guns locked up for safety why don't they lock the bozy up also. Sounds like might be a case of jail time for giving to teenagers. The parents is the first to start then but the hammer down on the students. What is the WORLD coming to? Put the law down on all of them now and maybe this will stop the problem before it gets out of hand with the other students. If one gets off free then there will be another then another and before you know it you can not control the problem.

It is so sad to see kids doing this in Middle School, I went to Walton Middles School and it was a great School. You would always have kids every so often get into trouble but things were pretty normal. No child should be drinking at this age or even have access to alcohol. Most problems come from home, kids these days need way more guidance and discipline. We all make bad choices at times but there is no excuse for putting your hands on an authority or anyone else. I just hope these children get disciplined enough to learn from this bad decision and that there parents will take better actions with them.

So now you'll blame the teacher's for this behavior. I am a retired teacher and during an inservice with Child Protective Services, we were told if we even THOUGHT a child had been hit or abused in some way and didn't report it, we could go to jail. Yes, teachers have to have discipline in their classrooms but it is the parents who must first teach the kids to be respectful, kind, and polite. Unfortunately that doesn't happen in a lot of cases. I can't remember how many times a parent told me (after I'd been in contact with them about their child's hitting another child) "I've always told my kid, if someone hits you, hit them back. Or if they're being mean, hit them." I have to tell the parents that at school that behavior will result in consequences.

If I can teach dog to go to the bathroom outside without wooping its ***, I can teach a kid to be respectful without wooping their ***; in fact I have, two of them.

The kids involved are well known as school bullies. They've been in trouble over & over & nothing seems to get done with them. Its time these girls & their little boy friend get a taste of reality, they wanna act like adults ounish them as so. These are little thug wannabes watchin to much Jackass TV.

Their parents need to block the Mean Girls show so the little thugettes don't get those bright ideas to bully people & break the rules just "because I can". Kids these days seem to think they grown & can do 'whatever' they want & not get punished for it. I'm tired of the overbearing punks thinkin they all that & pushin other kids around, tryin to 'run' the school cause they run their house. Walton parents need to stand up to the school authorities & demand their kids are kept safe at school & until authorties do that kids aren't safe there.

Wow! I hope some of you who "judged" my post will please explain why it is clueless, spam, and why you disagreed. Does no one think parents should be responsible for their kid's behavior BUT also know that hitting other kids in school is not going to work? I am really confused here.

It is sad to hear of minors drinking, but unfortunately, many adults in today's culture condone minors drinking and even provide it to their minor children. When will society take drinking among minors more seriously? Not only is the behavior destructive to children, but is also sends the message to them that it is ok to break the law. It all comes down to knowing right from wrong (which society can't seem to figure out because "truth" has become an opinion to many)...a concept that needs to be taught by parents well before adolescence.
