But these cops do nothing when anyone else recieves threats. How convenient that little government boy now has the cops protecting him.

A bad joke on everyone.

I bet the police find that his claim about recieving death threats has no merit. The sad fact is that he enjoys being the center of attention whether it's good or bad.

Agreed (re: the first sentence). And maybe the reason it took two weeks was because Dumler didn't WANT to interact with the police, or misuse police resources, or make it look like he was leveraging influence. But there I go again, giving someone the benefit of the doubt - silly me.

Sounds like another BS so-called "incident" like the alleged gas line incident with One-Term Tommy Perrijello's bro.

Besides being a convicted sex abuser, today he again proved himself a public liar. When asked last Friday about the potential death threat, Dumler stated, "I can't comment about an ongoing investigation." HE KNEW THERE WAS NO INVESTIGATION, because even as of today, he has not even officially reported it to the police! He was been too busy attempting to playing the victim in the news and using it as an excuse to skip out on the occupiers at the Dem's Breakfast.

You are a witty one.

So he receives a death threat and remains inert for two weeks so as not to look like he is getting special treatment, putting himself--an elected official--in a dangerous position? He is a county supervisor and he "did not want to interact with the police," a major department within county government. Whether or not you're Dolores of Scottsville, you really just stated a perfect case about how his criminality is negatively impacting his ability to be a supervisor.

Thank you; you cleared up any misconception that Dumler's job is not hurt by his crimes.

He should have joined the Navy. No doubt he would be a REAR ADMIRAL.

Well Dumler certainly stepped in it this time. He sure is a public liar! Last Friday, the Vice Chair of the Albemarle Democrats, Cynthia Neff said that the death threat was a "fact", only to be followed up by Dumler saying he couldn't comment on "an ongoing investigation." There was NO investigation. In fact, after the media reported the so-called threat, they had to call the liar to see what the threat was all about. If I read the transcript correctly, there is an "incident" the police want to find out about. Anyone know about that? What a liability to the Democratic Party Dumler and Nef have become.

Dumler stated, "I can't comment about an ongoing investigation." He did not say "an ongoing police investigation." Police are not the only ones allowed to conduct an investigation.

So he goes for the sympathy vote and has messed that up not wanting to speak to the cops. This guy is 1st class fraud, hopefully he'll be found out as filing a false report. I don't think he quite understood the seriousness of his actions making up a story like that.

I'm a county resident and former employee of Albemarle County. Although Dumler does not represent me, the taxes I pay help pay his salary (which is not much) and health insurance (a luxury for some). I've seen other employees fired for less than what he was charged with and later pleaded quilty to. I have no desire to even go into the County Office building. There's always a chance he might be there (grinning as usual).
