Could the person that called in the "warning" about the drivers being intoxicated have taken their keys away from them?
What legal right do you have to take away someone elses property? Makes more since to call the police and be a good witness. If that person would have tried to take the property (keys) from the drunk he (drunk) would have the right to protect himself and his property.

I agree with the way you think, however our laws are so screwed up they protect the criminal more then the honest law abiding citizen.

The person who called in the warning called twice with the license plate number, and the man driving pushed him out of the way so he could not get the keys. This person did all they could.

That's the point, cupcake. The drunk driver wasn't stopped before crashing because all the cops were at Chick-Fil-A.

LOL, nothing was ever said about the gym in earlier post. It was a group of police officers driving to Chic-Fil-A to have lunch with their working comrades. Get off the rant, this all started with a women being ejected from a mini-van operated by a drunk driver. By the way, maybe if some officers actually spent more time at the gym their shirt buttons would not be at their popping point. Just an observation I have made of some of those officers stopping at Chic-Fil-A on their way to the gym. You are fighting a perception battle here. Bad wrecks happening while whole shifts are seen at the same restaurant. Know one would say a word if you guys split up and spread out across the county more.
LOL, No one said the gym analogy was used in an earlier statement. It was a mere example of how off-duty vehicle use is used. "Get off the rant." Really? This article started off with a crash on 29S and you yourself are still talking about Chic-Fil-A and "whole shifts are seen at the same restaurant". Sounds like you are battling a perception battle. I can guarantee you will never see "9-10" officers at a restaurant....guaranteed. However, I can't fix the fact you are mad about getting charged with a past offense.

I was told 3 city police cars and 9 county police cars. Another person states he saw the same thing, possibly the same day. Why would you have so much trouble believing this? You a cop's wife or something? Guess you are the type that would have sworn there were no footprints in the headliners of the police cars before they got caught playing around on county time, while the drunk drivers roamed the street without any sort of police interference as well.

He won't and can't because he is too busy spreading filth on these forums. "A friend of mine talked to a neighbor who was informed by someone else there were 20 cops at chic-fil-a, blah blah blah....and the story continues." No concrete evidence to support, just lies

I don't believe it b/c I've never seen and apparently you haven't either. Your support for your statement revolves around a he said she said comment by a third party person. Just curious, is that what you and your friends talk about? If so, I'm sorry

Just because YOU don't believe it surely means it's not true. Real world alert, I am not a third person and I have seen it. Also your fellow officers have taken offense to the fact, and has commentated to the post ma referring to so many officers (he called them cops)in Chif-Fil-A. Some times you have to talk about it. My grandson ask why there were so many policemen he Paw-paw, am are suppose ignore his question? So I'm glad you know your sorry, and I do believe that, YOUR SORRY!

Go back and read my post, I never made mention of 9-10 officers five or six I have seen. Explain please what might my charges been in the past? I have never been charged with anything, I have always been a supporter of Law Enforcement and was just merely pointing out how you are being preceived by having so many officers in a resturant at the same time. I spent 32 years as a sworn law enforcement officer, don't accuse me of being mad about past offenses. I am mad becuase you all are taking a great profession and trashing it with your lack of respect you have for the public. Like most of the statements you have made, you don't have a clue what you are talking about. To many officers on break at the same time looks bad, I don't care what the reason is. If your all going to eat at the same time break up into smaller groups and spread out across the county. Now if that sound like a supervisors statement, maybe that is becuase becuase it is.

These young rookies nowadays just don't know any better. The chiefs assume they do know better though. The only thing that looks worse than 6, 8 or 10 police cars at a restaurant at the same time is 12 cars.
