The city is making the big dogs here in Carlsbad millionaires that controll the little people and don't even control the speed limit, loud pipes, rolling stop sign violators, barking dogs, etc.

Concerned Mom is correct. Tully has in place pay
increases for the directors that will be giving
them six figure incomes - and it will all be rubber
stamped "APPROVED" by the city council unless they
take a stand against it. Almost every director position was filled without advertising to the general public for the best candidates. This is also true for a deputy director position.
If the city if going to pay top dollar it better
let the market determine the applicant, not politics.
