Kanal 5: Greek lobby in USA trying to cancel Macedonian Diaspora-financed conference

Skopje. The Greek lobby in the USA is trying to cancel a conference on the Macedonian language, Slavonic studies and history of Southeastern Europe in the University of Utah, the Macedonian Kanal 5 TV reported.

Well Kiril, we are dealing with people(greeks) who pride them self,s on bringing Democracy,Culture and civilization to the world...Ironically they show nothing of that sort.
By trying to stop this conference, they expose them self,s as people with no Democratic value,culture or civilization.

Democracy and culture means also to recognize that there are over 2.5 millions of Macedonians who are self-identified as Greeks . And this is a human right(let alone history and heritage).

A simple question which demands a complex answer. The people of FYRM who cling to the name Macedonia are by culture, Slavic people. The Greek people to the south, by culture, are Greek. I have a broad minded opinion which states that everyone who wants to be Macedonian and feels macedonian would be nature be Greek as well and above all else. These people should also be Europesns and they should love and respect all that their Greek culture has given the world. Can you fit ibtop myMacedonia or would you rather be fitted ino Albanian or Bulgarian culture.

There are certain historico-socio-political reasons for it.
