This article is nonsense based on the fact that it, in no way, talks about the responsibility of the parent to care for their children. Why aren't we discussing the true problem with our health care...parents are not providing for their children. Why must we blame congress for this problem when congress did not have these children.
It is the parents responsibility, period. I understand that people get kicked in the teeth at some point in their life and I agree to having programs to assist them temporarily. But, our ciurrent system relieves parents of their responsibility to provide for their children.
We should hold the parents accountable for the lack of health care for their children and we should demand that they do whatever it takes to provide for them instead of relying on tax payers to do it.
