When it "yawns" that actually means you've made your point. Sexual indigents, when faced with facts, actually yawn because their brain cannot find the capacity to refute the obvious.

Homosexual adoption denies a child a father or mother. Which didn't YOU need?
Homosexual parenting also places a child at risk for molestation from partners, disease, the tragedy of losing a guardian, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, etc.
This really shouldn't be a political matter. It should only be about child welfare!
Are you saying that because of different genders all heterosexuals are good parents? Ridiculous.. As for molesting and abuse, where have you been living? On Mars?

Well, in a few years we may have to explain our views to Islam. Leave it to liberals to advocate anything other than normal sexual behavior, only then to welcome a group of people that would punish you the old fashion way for certain crimes or immoral behaviors. Believe me, that's not what I want for anyone, just be careful who or what you sleep with. Being a liberal is a sickness and a complete danger to our health and national security in so many ways. To make them look tough they pick on catholics, smokers, and little chubby children.

OR

It means that the statement that was made was so ridiculous or has been disproven so many times that it is no longer even worthy of a response.

Example: "Gay parents indoctrinating children."

Two new studies we are going to be hearing much more about in the coming days and weeks. The first is by Prof. Mark Regnerus:

"Two studies released Sunday may act like brakes on popular social-science assertions that gay parents are the same as — or maybe better than — married, mother-father parents."
“The empirical claim that no notable differences exist must go,” Mark Regnerus, a sociology professor at the University of Texas at Austin, said in his study in Social Science Research."
"Using a new,“gold standard” data set of nearly 3,000 randomly selected American young adults, Mr. Regnerus looked at their lives on 40 measures of social, emotional and relationship outcomes."
"He found that, when compared with adults raised in married, mother-father families, adults raised by lesbian mothers had negative outcomes in 24 of 40 categories, while adults raised by gay fathers had negative outcomes in 19 categories."
"Findings such as these do not support claims that there are “no differences” between gay parenting and heterosexual, married parents, said Mr. Regnerus, who helped develop the New Family Structures Study at the university."
"And a second study by Prof. Loren Marks:"
"The second study, also in Social Science Research, takes a critical look at the basis of an oft-cited American Psychological Association (APA) report on gay parenting."
"The APA brief says,“Not a single study has found children of lesbian or gay parents to be disadvantaged in any significant respect relative to children of heterosexual parents,” said Loren Marks, associate professor at the School of Human Ecology at Louisiana State University."

"However, after looking at the 59 studies that undergird this assertion,“the jury is still out,” Mr. Marks said.“The lack of high-quality data leaves the most significant questions [about gay parenting] unaddressed and unanswered.”
"Problems with the APA-cited studies were their tiny size; dependence on wealthy, white, well-educated lesbian mothers; and a failure to examine common outcomes for children, such as their education, employment and risks for poverty, criminality, early childbearing, substance abuse and suicide. Instead, the APA studies often looked at children’s gender-role behaviors, emotional functioning and sexual identity."

You didn't read the study, or look at what went into it, did you?

Did it compare stable gay and straight couples raising kids?

Nope.

Did it compare apples to rocks?

Yep.

Try again.

No, that one is out already, and already being trashed as junk science.

If you are going to compare families, you need to compare SIMILAR families with similar histories.

Not rocket science.

You are a confused one, aren't you?

The Catholic church seem to be picking on itself at the moment (or at least on it's own Nuns), smokers cost non-smokers billions of dollars, and chubby children often become chubby adults, and then cost the country billions in added health care costs.

If you are going to cost other folks their hard earned dollars, expect them to complain about it, and try to stop you.

No,.... a yawn is a sign of boredom from hearing the same old, oft refuted bullshit that only the uneducated dare repeat. It is impssible to "indoctrinate" someone into being gay. If you had ANY education you would know that.

This poor excuse for a human being has been on the topix boards for years and years. There's a long history, where he initially used his real name and identifiable information - and admitted to having legal "troubles", an estranged family (due to allegations of child abuse), and a variety of other items. At one point, several of us posted links to the court documents which showed his actual behaviors.

David is a self-hating man who is not supposed to be using the internet to harass, defame, or bully others. It is counter to his therapy, and may be a violation of his parole.

Usually, when confronted with the reality of his situation, he crawls back under his rock for a couple of months.
