Yeah, really! I wasn't there and blah, bah, blah but I can already tell you that shooting at an occupant of a moving vehicle isn't the best idea.Forward motion is usually continued. But good job boys, the punks are busted.I'm glad they weren't dealing with a real bad criminal.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that Police provide, and then questions the manner in which We provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think about moving vehicles!

Been there, done that.To my credit,I did somewhat give praise. The punks are busted, right? I don't know what" blanket" you are laying under but I know the difference between "freedom" and protection. You had enough inclination and time to say what you did and enjoy your right to free speech. That's freedom.Your opinion is duly noted however.

When you're done quoting A Few Good Men, maybe you could offer up an original thought.

Slider you and Ashlen are complete idiots. You dont get much more of a real criminal than one who trys to kill a police officer. This POS tried to run over these officers with a vehicle?? Why wasn't he charged with attempted murder? Thats our justice system for you.I know a couple of these officers personally and they are very good officers and even better people. Glad they lived to tell the story. Last time I checked they were cleared of any wrong doing. To bad that POS survived.

I know a couple of these officers too..one is my Rocky Valley pal on Topix. Yep, I'm glad nobody died. The rest is merely opinion. It'll be alright.

I agree with you 100%!!! as a former officer myself, I'm here to tell you that a 4400lb vehicle is the ULTIMATE in deadly weapons! Your also right about Slider being an idiot. If he had a real job instead of spongeing off off the state and sitting on his a$$ talking on TOPIX all day and night he might realize what the real world is like.

Ok Einstein, tell me the exact weight of the drivable projectile that was aimed at the officers. Sure, I'll take a hug, anytime your willing to get out of the recliner and meet me.

Judging from the make and model of the vehicle, it might go 3250lb with a full tank of gas and the occupants. You see me just about every day. Next time you do,try that hug on for size.

I am cornfused by it.
I'm thinking Slider from NC is being a DICK !

"Truth is" Started this crap and after reading his post I will offer a thought ....

"You dont get much more of a real criminal than one who trys to kill a police officer."

That is a silly ass statement ! You don't get much more of a STUPID criminal than one who trys to kill a trained police officer with a vest and a gun.
A real criminal preys on unarmed, unsuspecting, untrained civilians. And the police try to prevent that from happening, and I think the need all the help we can give them, whether it is by us thinking smarter or carrying a gun and protecting ourselves.
After saying that, I do agree with the part about the POS surviving, that was a shame.
If you know they were cleared, why don't you ask why the POS wasn't charged with attempted murder, I am going to ask, and if I get a reasonable response, I will post it. I too know several fine officers and unfortunately I know a few that shouldn't be...but until they turn on me, I will support them. And not being a criminal...

I don't know what all the resentment towards the real Slider is about, we all have opinions, and his is, usually well taken. I mean, what if Ashlen posted as much as Slider, then you would have something to bitch about !
