Town recorders earn state certification
Jamie Mrzena, the town recorder/finance director for Pegram, and Debbie Finch, assistant city manager/town recorder for Kingston Springs, recently completed training as certified municipal finance officers for their respective towns.

It is great that Pegram's new Recorder has "passed" a State certification but the purpose of the position is to keep the records and other duties which have just been neglected. Pegram should hire people who are already qualified instead of hiring family and friends....
