Obama ran on a promise to reform the broken immigration system and I am almost certain he would like to fulfill that promise at the same time updating this very important system bringing it up to the 21st century demands, it is hard to imagine who in their right mind would want to block this effort in another attempt to defeat his agenda, weather this bill passes or not Obama will still leave the White house with head held high and the losing impacts are going to be felt hardest upon the opposing team and more severe than it would on the 12 millions illegal immigrants who's impact on on America's politics would last for a long long time if not forever in the end the final victor will still remain the illegal immigrants.

Maybe a good place to start would be with some honesty for a change.
10 years ago the official number of illegals the Feds owned up to was 12 million, now its 11 million.

The open border treason lobby will never get a so called comprehensive amnesty bill passed. However, if enough treasonous marxist socialist demorats get kicked to the curb next election, smaller immigration reform bills that actually make sense could be passed.

The bill as it is written now is a travesty, and ultimately, the outcome if it should be passed, will be a detriment to this country. This administration has no plan to beef up the borders, and will not have competent people vetting the illegals who come forward to apply for legal status. Fraud was rampant in '86 and I see nothing to make me beleive that it won't be a monumental problem this time around. Illegals have more sophisticated "documents" this go-around.

Enforcement is on going ever since congress calls for it but that alone cannot resolve this big problem which has to do with people, economics, rule of law, and most of all America an exemplary democracy that the world has grown to respect. There are many things that makes America stands out proud wealth for sure is one of them but equally important is the rule of law that protects the growing respect for human dignity and that is a very thin line to balance on.

Some argue that immigrants are going to make this country into a third world nation well handling this issue using a third world approach may eventually make it looks that way.

The only way to fix our illegal immigration problem is to prosecute employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens. But that will never happen, because that would put rich people in jail. And we can't have that.

There appears to be a misunderstanding about democracy: It isnīt "To each his own", but rather,
a way of working together in order to solve
problems. If republicans want to do their own bill,
they must secretly be wishing to do things in such a
way, that only a few chosen obtain citzenship.
Maybe only people with money, or something like
that. One thing is for sure though:Too many extrava-
gant measuresw are going to cost the U.S. more than
it is worth. Also : The bulk of immigrants are not going to take it sitting down, if cetain subjects obtain preferential treatment.Because itīs got
to be plain money what the republicans are aiming
at-so that the border can be locked tight.
Personally, I donīt believe in the more severe
approach: Mexicans are simply going to come in by using speed boats and by digging the tunnels deeper.Or-who knows: There may even be incidents at
the border.So- why risk all of this?
Iīd take "E-verify2 out of the equation completely
and maybe president Obama will anyways simply
not approve of any bill which isnīt fair as well
as complete.. This should be made clear to certain key people so that if republicans intend to break
up the bill, they can stop that right away.
Cultural variety is always an asset to a country-
provided that it is done in a smart manner.
And finally: The economy is horrible all over
the world: fiddling around with this bill and
spending money which could be used to solve instead
of combating this problem with the mindset that
itīll pay off lateron-is a mistaken attitude:
A dollar spent combating is different from a dollar
spent solving a problem.Democrats and republicans should work together to pass the bill quickly
before the issue becomes so complicated that the
result either wonīt work or-whatīs
more likely-would cost enough to damage the american economy even further. Many an immigrant
is satisfied with work no American citizen would
ever want to do- so why block their path to legalization and invent more and more obstacles?
The Arabic and asian world is developing at a
fast pace, and America needs to save some time
and money in order to have more energy left for
accelerating its own growth.Thinking about the economy instead of the immigrants is only going to
complicate the issue.
