Besides leaving a town where some of the commissioners tried to fire him. Andy goes and gets a bigger and better job with more money and near bigger cities. Due to this towns small-mindedness we lost a good man.

Indeed. Not only did we lose Andy but his family that was active in their church and school. I wish them all the best.

A good man does not threaten employees, not support his department heads while allowing some employees to violate rules, regulations, and the law. Check his record. More employees fired during his tenure than any other city manager. Also, there's over $400,000 missing from the budget. Someone should be held accountable.

You conveniently left out the part where he met with the district attorney about the accusations and nothing was filed against him.

There are so many things which have occurred in the city. Things that you would not be "proud of". A city manager should lead with "example" and represent all the people, not just the few who cut his hair, and do favors for him and some of the commissioners.
