Wonderful, even though my family and I never celebrated Kwanzaa. This is great.

Happy Kwanzaa to everyone who celebrates it.

What does it mean? Why so you think it's "great"?

Isn't Christmas enough? You have to have another holiday?

Black girls will take advantage of any opportunity to shake their butts on stage. They have no clue what they're doing.

"Africa? Where is Africa, Momma?"

"That's where Tarzan is from, honey."

There have been no other victims of total cultural genocide in the US. It is not surprising that people who have everything taken away from them, such as names and languages would have to start their own traditions.

People make up things all the time to make money, like rabbits laying eggs for Easter and Santa Claus myths.

If they tried doing that to me or anyone in my sight, I'd pop a cap in all those niccas like they were cardboard cutouts in a shooting gallery!

I understand what your saying, I lost Faith in Black men base on what they show me on the "Day to Day".

Its far more than a few, 80% is a very high figure when you look at the marriage stats which are extremely Low, I rather take my chances with other men.

Besides, when have BM ever been loyal to BW? They don't even take care of their flesh and blood children, so why would the love or take care of you?

Its too hard to find a brother who wants to do right. Its not everybody its "too many" Brothers who simply don't care

2011 is the year that BM will start acting like adults.

No more dealing drugs, no more gang banging, no more dropping out of high school, no more getting teenage girls pregnant, no more back & forth to jail/prison, etc.

That was then. This is now. The stereotype is over. Dead.

CAN I GET AN AMEN?

Remember the Native American and the "Trail of Tears"?- How soon we forget when we try to develop our own agendas.

Sorry for offending any Native Americans, as I was not trying to make light of their struggle.

The cultural genocide for the Blacks was referring to the fact that all tribal affiliations, country of origin and language was taken from the enslaved Africans and hence the need to develop a different identity here.

Most Native Americans know where their ancestors come from, Cherokee, Apache, Navajo and many other tribes so the total annihilation of culture is not the same in my opinion.
