Hello, my name is Robert and I am writing today about something very important. I am out of work after being laid off from my job as an instrument tech because the company I worked for has opened a new plant in Mexico which is more profitable than the one here in MS. I have been searching for work all over without any luck. Anyway, what I need help with is this. Today I went to 612 hwy 90 in search of a job where they are building massive apartment complexes. When I walked out to the job site it looked like I had gone to Mexico.I couldn't find a single person who could speak English. Lucky for me I can speak enough Spanish to get me by. I asked some of the electricians in Spanish if they knew where they're boss is and that I needed work. They did not know. Then I walked to another unit and asked. One nice Mexican guy said sorry, the boss only hires Mexican people. I was shocked to hear this. I finally found the supervisor for the contractor company called New Horizons. A tough old weathered guy who claimed he has been in the construction industry for thirty years and he has never found a white guy who can work as hard for as little as Mexicans. That hurt me and angered me at the same time because I am super fast and skilled and have a utility trailer full of the best tools. I even told him I really needed work and that I would be willing to work for as much as he is paying his Mexican workers for. He refused and said there's no way I'm as fast and as cheap. I then went back to talk to the Hispanic guys on the job sight out of curiosity. I asked some guys if they had they're green card nicely. They quickly replied no and asked if I was border patrol. I replied no, so they went on with they're work. I asked another guy how much he was making and if he would like a raise. He must have thought I was with the company. He replied,"17. an hour". Now I've made more but 17 an hour would be greatly appreciated right now. I am about to lose my house and I am behind on all my bills including my phone bill. It deeply saddens me to see this in our country. I respect the hard working Hispanic community and they're desire for a better life however, There has to be some immigration enforcement when there is so many jobs going to illegal immigrants and not tax paying citizens. I live in a storm torn city with few jobs and cant even afford to leave because so many jobs are going to immigrants like electrician jobs, carpenter positions and many more. Please help me and our country. Expose this contractor company and help get America back. The company is called New Horizons. The construction site is next door to the gas station with the address 612 hwy 90 Waveland ,MS. There are over 70 illegal immigrants working there now. Please make this a story and do anything you can to help make this right, my family and friend's future depends on it. Thank you.

I just read what you wrote and I know how you must feel but in some places they only accept White people so it's the same and the reason why they give immigrants the jobs is because most American want health insurance and all that and most company they dont want to be paying for that. So as you can see it's hard for everyone.
