Riverview school seeks to boost percentage of minority faculty
Riverview Charter School will try to increase black faculty and staff by at least 5 percentage points each of the next three years to comply with the Beaufort County School District's agreement with the federal Office for Civil Rights.

Good luck with that! I (a minority myself) have found many of the local minorities are uneducated and have no desire to educate themselves beyond the local Gullah culture. The few minority teachers that are brought in from out of state who have innovative ideas are run off by other local minorities who are intimidated by their intelligence! Thank God for the few out of state residents (regardless of race) who are able to think outside of the box and the Marine/Navy population.
