This is the second young lady to be killed in George County by her so called boyfriend in the past few years, the first being at the Rocky Creek Inn. Domestic violence is going on in every neighborhood and town. Open your eyes and I'd lay money you know someone in your family who's suffering and either doesn't know who to come to or is so very afraid of hearing "I told you so" they'd rather live through it until they can get out on their own. How many more will die before we start trying to slow it down?

The sad thing is family, friends, and law enforcement all tell these same females repeatedly that they should get out of the abusive situation, because it will only get worse. Unfortunately, they always make excuses why they should stay with the abuser.

I feel bad for the family and friends of this poor victim. I am sorry for the loss. He shouldnt get the death penality, he should rot in prison where nobody will care if and when he dies

Well, girls won't listen to their folks about the kind of guys to avoid. They gotta have it regardless. Social life carries risks you may not be ready for.

Maybe it won't bring her back, but it will assuredly prevent another death by this particular individual.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Scorpio

A loved one is very assertive under the Full Moon tonight. You'll only make it worse if you come down like a ton of bricks, given that Mars is retrograde and it's a lunar eclipse tonight. Besides, do you really want to spoil this evening's celebrations because you've had a flaming row? If possible, live and let live, so you can have a really happy New Year!
