I expected her to blame it all on him...she's cracking under the pressure of life in prison (and being guided by her defense attorney).

I doubt any jury this side of Tennessee will believe her story. Her criminal history also doesn't play well with her little miss good girl defense story.

i believe both to be guilty of capital murder. as realist said hiding for hours knowing cops were everywhere, i just dont see him being able to hold her hostage.

regardless of being held hostage - she had her hands on that steering wheel and her foot on the gas - she chose her own path right then and there. she could have stopped the truck, veered away from police, etc. And doesn't every "bonnie" of the bonnie and clyde type criminal couples have that same claim? I do hate it that they both are so young but they have had enough experience with legal trouble to have known the consequences of their actions.

3 am? I wonder what the cop's %BAC was?

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-- A Kansas City, Mo., police officer was in critical condition on Monday after a weekend crash that killed his wife.

The officer and his wife, 26-year-old Jennifer Zeplin, were southbound on Interstate 29 north of St. Joseph at just after 3 a.m. Sunday when the officer lost control of his vehicle, hit an embankment and overturned.

Zeplin was pronounced dead at the scene.

She can't help it if something that looked like a deer darted out in front of the truck. Heck, you'd almost think the Sheriff commited "suicide by bad guy". After all, how does a grown man with a lifetime of law enforcement experience put himself in a position to be checking out the ball joints of a moving pickup truck full of drugged up felony fugitives on the run? He definitely wasn't using his common sense when he ALLEGEDLY stepped out in front of those scared kids like that.

If they can't see any better than that in the middle of the day, they shouldn't be driving. They turned into him whereas he was out of their way at the time. And he did not run out in front of him.

I hear ya, back when such thing was popular down in Arkasas, they had a truck moose hunting season. You could legally hunt moose with a truck, preferably an old one that had a big bumper on it. The last time we went was the last season it was offered by the state. However, the sad part about this particular hunt was that the game warden had put on a moose suit to catch poachers, leading us to think he was a real moose, so we bagged him with the truck and put our moose tag on him. There was ruckus at first, but our defense was proven in court and all charges were dropped but they didn't even let us use the meat or the hide, those savages.

Hostage = B.S!
- lots of pretty faces mask untrue, check her bags, drawers, and space it will tell all... they should ask her about hiding meth in the walls and in her dad's tool box in his home and other places. Check the walls of all the meth-homes and trailers, their using the old trick of hiding guns from thieves like the older folks use to do and not just these two.

Big Girl Panties indeed! She made her choices, she may love him, but she was bound to have been raised better. Most likely changed her mind after impact...

If she was made a hostage by this boy, he would have gotten rid of the body, the body would not actively be driving him away from answering to his civil responsibilities.

No Sir.

I'm saying She was Not a Hostage, she entered the whole situation of her own free will with eyes wide open, she's not as innocent of this mess as she may try to come off as to her dad or the public. She knows... and they may get more info from her than they will from him, since she's trying to get out of it.

I've not said a word about Bobby, in any of my posts, except the under the trailer example. His wife wore the pants and carried the wallet in that family. She called all the shots. Poor guy would have to beg for his own money for just a pack of cigs or a cold one.*Sometimes you get caught in a situation and have no way out when it comes to family and love. If 'anything' were in the walls there and I am not saying there never have been, it's already been moved out.

I cannot give out location, sorry, but you could probably check court clerks offices to find such info, or simply hitch a ride with the law, since they visit so often.

LEO -> Check the walls of ALL the meth-homes and trailers, while barging in the first time, it's right beside you or in your hands and when they say to you, Go ahead and check/search that, Do it, do not just think about it and walk away, it's a lie doing its best to appear like truth and your falling for it.

(Sometimes just listening to people/even kids while they are talking with one another will give you the answers)

She was driving, the driver is the one that should be held responsible for the accidental killing of the sheriff.

He did not "dart" out in front of the truck. He was standing on the side of the road. The driver deliberately avoided the spikes and veered toward 2 not just 1 police officers standing on the side of the road. One officer just happened to get out of the way in time or the driver would have 2 deaths to be repsonsible for. The driver could have also avoided the spikes on the other side of the road but chose to hit a police officer instead !
