This article should go out to all the idiots that think we just wipe assses for a living. The ones that think the doctors are the smartest people in the world because they have so many years of education than we do. For the most part that is the case then you get the ones that are only book smart and wouldn't know how to put in a foley using sterile technique if your lives depended on it.

Those are the docs we save your asss from. The ones that order 10 times the dose of digoxin or leave their sterile tools inside your abdomen after surgery.

Funny how when there is a crisis the first person the docs yells for is an RN.

"Oh is she crashing? Let me wipe her asss for you. That should bring her back to life....."

12 hours is WAY TO LONG for anyone to wait for emergency assistance. Too many people relying on evergency rooms to provide them with FREE medical care??? Ya think? Otherwise hospitals could actually AFFORD to provide adequate staff to handle emergencies in an expedient manner.(and if there was a REAL crisis, like a 9/11 ... how LONG would they need to wait?) I can see how these medical professionals get BURNED OUT.
