I think a lot of colleges need to be checked ie, students required to retake classes they have already taken and passed with a good grade average when transfering schools.
Also the recruiting and financing I find just a little shady with the University of Phenoix the recruiter was fast to say no funding with pell grants but Bank America seemed to have money for this until Dec. 05, 2009 . Also the advisor my daughter had looked over her transcripts and she had enough credit hours to be finished in January for a BSN. That is the only time I know of she could get in contact with her. Now it is time for her to finish and a guy calls says the female advisor is no longer there and my daughter needs 2 more classes to get her BS and no funding from BA any more . She tells him it is strange he waites until now to contact her and tell her this. What do you make of this? I think the advisor should have been in contact with her also she has not been able to get a reply from the finicial aid she tried to contact at the school! At this point I am afraid the school is not accredited and she has done all this work and is going to loose money , time and energy for nothing. would you mind e-mailing me and telling me if other people have had the same problems? From what little I have read the school is making the money . A friend of mine that lives in Arizona told me she was sorry she signed up for that school that people were having all sorts of problems with them. Thank you, Jean West
