Well whoop-de-doo! Gays will just have to go to another state and marry if they want federal benefits in a state that does not allow gays to marry. But the state does not have to recognize any gay marriage anymore than a state has to recognize another states gun laws.
Tell you what k-wirs. Get gun restrictions abolished in all states so that a citizen can carry guns from one state to another, open or concealed, and I will consider supporting gay marriage in all states.

Actually, you're wrong.
The U.S. Constitution's "Full Faith and Credit" clause and the U.S. REQUIRES each state to legally recognize all of the legal acts of every other state. there ae NO exceptions. SCOTUS ruled on this specific clause most recently in the General Motors case. And along with that, the U.S. Constitution's "Supremacy" clause means that would supersede any states' laws to the contrary.
