I would respond to Rick Santorum, "Where the hell have you been for the last forty years, Mr. Frothy Mix? Except for a few troglodytes such as yourself, it's already a 'done deal'."

A clearer way to make Frothy Mix's point is this: Exposure to the facts and history of same-sex relationships will expose the lies on which bigotry is based. His ideas cannot stand the light of day.

I would only add, "Just when you think this "man" can't get any dumber, he proves you wrong.

I think Rick Santorum and Rick Perry make a cute couple. They're both clueless, foolish, irrelevant, and obsessed with both homosexuality and good hair.

Since Rick Perry is well-versed in all things gay, he's the perfect person to bring Santorum out. What a great reality series that would make! Move over, Kardashians ... the new trash TV family are "The Rickys".

What the hell are "same-sex values"? My values are no different that the majority of Americans. I value honesty, integrity, hard work, & providing a safe loving home in which to raise my family.

Oooooh, not that!

It will make same sex values normal. As opposed to being a judgey, pseudo-christian bigot being normal? who the hell are you to say what is normal for everyone else. we live in america dude. this isn's some dictatorship. these hypocritical republican cry and whine about government being in people's business. that is until it's 'their' values. then all of a sudden they want a stringent government laws against GLBT americans having equal rights. My thought is why are we being taxed if we aren't equal? next thing you know they'll want to put us in internment camps. yet that doesn't stop all the christians and republicans from raping young boys. sigh, too bad we can't legislate crazy.

He also made repeated comments on "supporting families" who are struggling economically. I wish one of the moderators would have pointed out that he was only referring to straight families, and NOT gay families.

Mr. Santorum, what precisely are the "values" you speak of.

I mean, which "values" are specific to married gay people?

Same-sex Value: A two for one sale on exactly identical sweaters at K-Mart with the identical-twins-who-insist-on- dressing-alike-as-adults target market in mind. I think that definition would work!
