- Private Property -

UNC is an absentee land owner at best. What the Fire board and dept. want to see are gates and fences and "No Trespassing" signs plastered all over the approaches to Old Man Mtn. Same thing for the other private properties at the end of the road at the base of Old Man Mtn.

Guess what? Idiots are still going to trespass and still climb and still get their idiotic a@@es caught in cracks in the rock!(BTW, there are no caves, Juley, just big cracks in the rock. You really need to get out more......)

Unless the fire dept. is going to refuse to rescue those who get stuck up there, it's a problem that's not going to go away soon.....
What about

spraying the cracks with melted butter or WD-40?

Anne Hathaway had a crack problem at the premier, and I don't mean she was smoking it.

I mean she is one smoking hot crackpot.
